Sustainability in Mining & Resources with Brenda Kuzyk

Thankfully, the terms ‘environmental impact’ and ‘sustainability’ are in common use these days in the mining and resources sectors. At the same time, specialists like today’s guest, Brenda Kuzyk, work hard to develop and uphold eco-policy to address the current climate crisis.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science in Alberta, Canada 35 years ago – a time where green thinking was unusual – Brenda faced a limited job market as a graduate. Adapting according, she seized opportunities to transition from her origins in the Canadian Federal Government to a role in private industry as a sustainability expert. Brenda now assists mining and resources companies to align their practices with sustainability policies.
